About this itemAsian Paints Berger AR Primer, 3.6L 800 White, is an alkali-resistant, water-based masonry primer designed to prepare interior and exterior cement plaster, concrete and putty surfaces before application of topcoat emulsions in UAE conditions. The primer helps resist the effects of residual alkalinity in new plaster and old lime-based substrates, reducing the risk of efflorescence and topcoat discolouration. When applied over properly prepared, dry surfaces, AR Primer penetrates and consolidates the substrate, improves adhesion of subsequent emulsions and helps even out absorption, leading to more uniform colour and finish. The white tone also provides a bright underlayer that can enhance the hiding and brightness of the final paint, helping reduce the number of topcoat coats required. The 3.6L pack is ideal for room-scale repainting and touch-up priming work. Used as part of a complete system with quality putty and emulsion, Berger AR Primer supports durable, clean-looking walls that perform reliably under the high-alkalinity, high-humidity and temperature fluctuations common in UAE projects.
