1. The Hager 4-pole earth leakage circuit is designed to provide protection for people and property in the event of a fault in the electricity circuit. It uses intelligent sensing devices to detect when voltages and current flows deviate from pre-set levels, and then trips the circuit to cut off the flow of electricity, thereby preventing electrocution or other incidents.
2. To ensure maximum safety, the 4-pole circuit maintains three levels of detection. The four-pole earth leakage circuit is sensitive enough to detect low-level imbalance currents quickly and reliably. It is also able to resist false tripping due to interference and spike voltages.
3. The circuit is also designed to include reset and test functions, allowing users to easily reconfigure the circuit if necessary, or to check that the protection is in place. An integrated visual display provides quick and easy access to the status of the circuit, displaying the current limit in mA (milliamps) as well as a warning sign if the current limit has been exceeded.
