1. The Stanley 5002 Series Wood Chisel is a crafted tool made from high quality, exceptionally strong chrome vanadium steel alloy. This alloy has been hot forged to increase its strength, and then subjected to a special heat treatment that gives it superior sharpness and the ability to stay sharp for longer periods of time.
2. Featuring a contoured handle made of hardwood, its ergonomics ensure a secure grip that is comfortable to hold. The chisel is also designed with a shallow front scraper to easily remove glue or excess wood.
3. The Stanley 5002 Series Wood Chisel is designed with two beveled edges in both directions. This means that users can cut to the left or right for maximum versatility in use. Its tips are made wave and hollow tempered for longer lasting sharpness.
4. The blade of the chisel is finished with a rust-resistant coating for protection when not in use. The handle is lacquered and polished for increased durability. It comes equipped with a felt-lined storage box for the safe storage of all components.
