Uses & Advantages

Primary Uses

  • Bonding rubber athletic tracks and multisport flooring on asphalt.
  • Installing recycled rubber shock-absorbent flooring in playgrounds.
  • Adhering resilient flooring for indoor sports, including onto waterproofing fiberglass underlays.
  • Laying homogeneous and heterogeneous PVC (sheets and tiles), CV floor coverings, and LVT.
  • Bonding semi-flexible quartz vinyl floor tiles (VTC).
  • Installing textile floor coverings with common backings (latex-primed, PVC and polyurethane foam, natural jute and Action-Bac backed carpets, needlepunch woven flooring, flocked textile flooring).
  • Adhering linoleum with all kinds of backings.
  • Bonding polyolefin-based and chlorine-free floor coverings.
  • Installing PUR floor coverings.

Key Advantages

  • Delivers extremely strong, tough, and elastic adhesion for diverse applications.
  • Formulated to be highly resistant to moisture, water, heat, and atmospheric agents after setting.
  • Maintains performance under extreme temperatures, intense mechanical stress (e.g., from forklifts), and frequent washing cycles.
  • Exhibits excellent adhesion to nearly all materials commonly used in the construction industry.
  • Two-component system ensures a chemical reaction for setting, providing high bond strength without shrinking.
  • Supplied in pre-measured proportions for easy mixing into an even paste, facilitating application.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

TECHNICAL DATASHEET SPEC

Composition

Two-component adhesive made from an epoxy-polyurethane polymer (component A) and a special hardener (component B).

Curing Mechanism

Sets by means of a chemical reaction, which occurs without any shrinking of the adhesive.

Post-Cure Properties

After setting, the adhesive becomes tough and resistant to moisture, water, heat, and atmospheric agents.

Service Temperature Range

Capable of withstanding temperatures when in service ranging from -40°C to +100°C.

Working Times

Features a pot life of 50-60 minutes, an open time of 60 minutes, and an adjustment time of 90 minutes at +23°C and 50% R.H.

Adhesion Performance

Achieves peel adhesion at 90° of > 3 N/mm for both rubber and PVC (resulting in floor-covering failure) after 14 days at +23°C.

Adesilex G19 is a two-component epoxy-polyurethane adhesive, combining component A (an epoxy-polyurethane polymer) with component B (a special hardener). When mixed, it forms an even coloured paste that is easy to apply. This adhesive sets through a chemical reaction without shrinking, transforming into a tough material highly resistant to moisture, water, heat, and atmospheric agents. It adheres exceptionally well to nearly all materials used in the building industry, providing extremely strong, tough, and elastic bonding. Specifically designed for general purpose use, Adesilex G19 is particularly suitable for non-absorbent or moisture-sensitive substrates and various resilient and textile floor coverings. Its robust formulation makes it ideal for areas subject to extreme temperatures from solar radiation, intense mechanical stress from lift trucks or forklifts, and frequent washing, including applications where floor coverings are not welded or sealed.
