Mapeshield E is a self-adhesive zinc plate system designed to provide galvanic cathodic protection for rebar in reinforced concrete structures. It prevents corrosion by creating a potential difference between the steel and zinc, even in aggressive environments with high chloride presence. The product is available in two thickness options, Mapeshield E 25 and Mapeshield E 45, and complies with European standard EN 12696 for cathodic protection of steel in concrete.
